I'm on vacation/holiday as I write this post, but I wanted to show you all what makeup I brought with me on vacation. Just so you know, I'm really into adventure travel and I needed to bring makeup that would withstand the heat and humidity of Costa Rica, while also staying put during a class 3-4 white water rafting trip, snorkeling, kayaking, and long beach days.
Usually my day starts with putting on makeup at the very beginning of my day and barely touching up before dinner. So far, my trusty makeup has proven to be tried and true as long-lasting, budge-proof, adventure-ready makeup.
Here's what I brought: Tarte Shadow Sticks, Tarte Skinny SmolderEyes, Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tints, Becca Beach Tint, Maybelline Great Lash & Colossal Volume Waterproof mascaras, MAC eye pencil, MAC Mineralize Concealer, Josie Maran Color Stick, Dior Diorshow Brow Styler, Kate Moss for Rimmel London lipstick (new matte version).
What are your go-to beauty products when you travel? I'm always looking for travel-ready makeup. :)

Love your picks, Chris! What color of the Beach Tint do you have? I've also been curious about that Josie Maran Color Stick too but I am scared that since it contains so much argan oil, it will slide right off my oily skin :P
ReplyDeleteI have watermelon. This is actually half of the mini duo pack that I bought during their beauty insider sale. Love this size for traveling! As far as Josie's color stick, it's a little dewy post application but stays on really well! I have combo skin with dry cheeks so this works well for me.
DeleteSmart girl! I like to use cream/stick shadows in warm weather as well. They just hold up much better! Becca Beach Tint looks like another great choice. I'm pretty sure it'll go back to Taipei with me in summer.

LOVE your make up picks =D Those two mascaras are my go-tos as well! Great minds think alike ;) My essentials are: brush kit, either smashbox pro palette or naked palette, NYX eyeliner, make up forever concealer, stila bronzer, lancome powder, and my eyelash curler!
