Happy Mani Monday! I've worked the last 3 nights so today actually feels like a Saturday. Anywho, I've been wearing Butter London's Rosie Lee on my nails for the past 4 days and I've loved it. I have a love-hate relationship with glitter polishes... I love how sparkly my nails look, but I hate taking the glitter off as anyone who's ever worn glitter polish can attest to how much of a pain it is to remove. The irony is that because glitter sticks to your nails, it also lasts longer. The above picture is of my manicure on its fourth day, after working the last three nights.
I applied two coats of Rosie Lee and was happy with the finish, although 3 coats would make it more opaque. I didn't find the polish to feel too gritty once a top coat was applied, rather, it feels like a texturized finish.
What are you wearing on your nails today?

I've never tried any Butter London nail polishes, But I'm going to do it. Reviews are really good and this shade is so pretty!

I've had pretty good experiences with Butter London. Nice thing is that they're three free.
DeleteI am usually not a fan of glitter nail polishes at all, but Rosie Lee looks SO pretty on you! Super sparkling and perfect for spring!
ReplyDeleteI agree! Don't you think this would pair well with Dior spring 2013? ;)
DeleteSo pretty! I've really been loving densely-packed glitter polishes lately after I fell in love with Essie's Beyond Cozy (still one of the best I've seen!). I'm having so much fun with glitters, which is funny seeing as how I didn't really like or start to wear glitter polish until a few months ago! :P
ReplyDeleteI go through phases with glitter polishes and I just happen to be loving them this season. Maybe it's because the sparkle makes the gloomy cold weather seem much more pleasant.
DeleteThat's such a pretty shade, and I can't help but love all things sparkly =) I wish I could paint my nails, but they're ugly from playing so much piano =( I'll live my nail life vicariously through you =P

This glittery polish looks amazing! I agree with you- glittery nail polishes look so pretty on our nails but removing it is hell! It is all worth it in the end though... sometimes :P
ReplyDeleteWow this looks amazing. There was a similar one sold at Rite-Aid as those yearly Snowman nail polishes but I hesitated on getting it because it was glittery. I really LOVE glitter polishes, but after my first experience with them, I was turned off for awhile.
ReplyDeleteI'm wearing E.L.F.'s polish in Red Velvet. It's a beautiful light shimmery red that I can't help staring at all the time. You should check it out!

Just fell in love with this today <3
ReplyDeleteAlway take Glitter polish off by drowning the polish in remover and aluminium foil...works really well ;)
