NEW SHADE: Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya (pictures, swatches & FOTD)

I've been hunting down the newest shades of Revlon's ColorBurst Lip Butter and I managed to get hold of Juicy Papaya.  True to its name, this papaya-colored lip butter is what I think is the perfect everyday neutral lip color.

Juicy Papaya comes housed in a pale pinky-orange plastic casing.  The color of the bullet is usually an indicator of the color and I almost passed this up because I thought it would be too pale for me.  I'm glad that I didn't because it's quickly becoming a favorite everyday color of mine.

Like other Revlon Lip Butters, Juicy Papaya is a sheer lip color that feels hydrating on my lips.  These lip butters last around 2 hours without eating or drinking, but I don't mind frequent application since the sheerness allows me to reapply this without a mirror.

This new shade is a pinky-orange, or better yet "papaya"-colored in the bullet, but when applied over my mauve lips, turns into a neutral MLBB (my-lips-but-better) shade that is perfect for everyday.

I'm a huge fan of Revlon Lip Butters for both its easy wearability and hydrating quality.  I absolutely adore this shade for everyday and I have a feeling that it'll have a permanent residence in my makeup bag.

Bottom line: If you're a fan of Revlon Lip Butters, I highly suggest you try Juicy Papaya.  Though it looks pale in the tube, it's a beautiful sheer neutral for everyday.  I found this at Ulta for $7.49.

For this FOTD, I decided to pair Juicy Papaya with green and teal eye makeup.  To complete the look, I added an emerald green statement necklace.

    1. I can't believe I almost passed on this! I passed on Wild Watermelon, another new shade thinking it was just another bright red, but it's actually a gorgeous pink! Now I'm hunting that down, along with Sorbet. :)

  6. I like Juicy Papaya on you! Tarte Rainforest Black also looks super awesome! It's not a shade that I can use TOO much of (I can look so overdone), but as a thick liner it's amazing!
