I'm a BIG fan of Revlon Lip Butters. Of all the drugstore tinted lip balm/ lip butter formulations, Revlon's version is my favorite and I don't know why it took me so long to branch out to their other lip products.
The new lip glosses come housed in a sleek and simple round tube that has some weight to it which I like. They also come with a smaller doe foot applicator (in comparison to MAC Lip Glass) which I appreciate because it allows me to apply gloss precisely.
I purchased Kiss me Coral and Fuchsia Finery which I thought were fun, bold colors for the season. Neutral color lovers need or be afraid as these are sheer, but pigmented enough to show up on my mauve lips. These glosses aren't sticky at all. The fuchsia gloss is a creamy, non-shimmery gloss while the coral gloss has fine iridescent white shimmers. I was afraid that Coral would feel gritty on my lips, but I'm happy to report that it's as creamy as the purple color. The scent of these glosses remind me of cotton candy. Fortunately, I don't detect any taste. These glosses last about an hour and a half with drinking. Though you may need to reapply frequently, they're sheer enough to apply without a mirror. I definitely see myself investing in more colors. Bottom line: For non-sticky glosses in sheer summery colors for less than 7 bucks, these are definitely worth giving a try.
